If you are lucky enough to take a tour with SD Bay adventures make sure you take a waterproof camera as you might get to meet some Dolphins. Best places to SUP in San Diego
Mission bay– It is impossible to deny this Beaches true beauty with baby blue water and golden sands this spot could be an ideal getaway from the busy everyday city life. After relaxing on the beach you can go and rent a Paddleboard from the local Mission Bay Sports Centre and enjoy an amazing core workout on the water!
This will be a truly once in a lifetime experience as you paddle around the shores of San Diego and take in the stunning views in every direction. If you have never paddled before/don’t feel confident paddling by yourself then lessons are available. Bring the whole family to Mission Bay and let them chill on the beach, go for a bike ride, get some nice food or do one of the many other activities in the local area while you go off and enjoy your time on the water!
Del Mar Beach– Another astonishing beach which is perfect for taking your little furry friends, this beach has been called the ‘Dog Beach’ by many of the locals and if you decide to pay a visit you will find out why! Your dog will have the time of its life on this beach with all of his other companions splashing around him.
At the same time, you can leave your partner/friend with the dog to go off and enjoy some quality Paddle Boarding. If you’re by yourself don’t be afraid to bring you pup with you on the Board. La Jolla– This is definitely one of our favorite SUP spots in San Diego. With the local Surf Diva company offering SUP rentals for anybody who doesn’t have their own; as well as an amazing tour! Their tour will show you a different part of San Diego, instead of getting to see the Skyline (which is the usual view) you will get a unique view of the amazing La Jolla cliffs and caves. This view is only possible from on the water and is hard to beat! There are also lessons available for anybody who doesn’t fell confident paddling just yet…
