Stand Up Paddleboarders know iRocker as a brand that makes affordable boards that are strong and versatile. The SUP market is awash with premium manufacturers that struggle to deliver on their promises of convenience and quality. But iRocker is one of the few that guarantees satisfaction.
SUPs are often a copy of one another, with little in the way of function and weight separating each from the competition. iRocker’s newest launch is their Ultra™ collection of SUPs that offers the assurance users look for when out on a wilderness adventure.
The Ultra™ collection offers a portable and compact SUP with all the functionality of a larger inflatable board. iRocker’s Ultra™ SUPs fit into backpacks 50% smaller than their predecessors, making them more convenient for hiking and air travel.
The Ultra™ technology is now on both iRocker and Blackfin models—and acts to complement the original boards that everyone loved. Each SUP is made up of a triple layer military grade PVC, sealed and drop stitched for incredible resilience to abuse.
“Enhanced backpack holding everything you need for a waterborne adventure”
As with other boards from iRocker, the Ultra collection comes with everything you need to get out on the water. Ultra™ SUPs come with a 3-piece nylon blade paddle that disassembles and reduces to a short and easy to stow oar.
Ultra packs include iRocker’s popular 12-volt electric pump for quick inflation to peak pressure and to deflate the SUP. The electric pump takes less than 12 minutes to inflate an Ultra™ SUP. The pump will run off your car’s lighter socket, a 12-volt battery, or you can plug it directly into a wall socket.
Though punctures are unlikely, the Ultra includes a full repair kit, so you do not have to end the adventure when out in the wilderness. You also get tethered fins and a 10-foot coil leash—with a key stash—for greater flexibility and to prevent snagging.
iRocker has even reduced the backpack size while improving comfort and accessory access.
The Ultra™ collection covers the following models: –
Cruiser Ultra™ — Space for extra cargo or a passenger on its 33-inch-wide base. Ideal for beginners looking to cruise around lakes and slow-moving rivers with family.
Blackfin CX Ultra™ — A 10-foot 6-inch by 32.5-inch-wide SUP with carbon rails for a sleek and solid boarding experience. Perfect for speed, fishing, and rough water.
10-All-Round Ultra™ — Compact and intended for the solo adventurer looking to travel light and move fast. A 32-inch-wide base limits the drag on the SUP for better speed and maneuverability with less paddling effort.
11-All-Round Ultra™ — Also with a 32-inch-wide base, but 11-foot-long, which increases its load capacity to 290 pounds.
It is all too familiar to see a SUP manufacturer stick with their concept and be too afraid to tinker with the product. iRocker has risen to the challenge and come to a compromise of keeping its most popular features and styles but improving every aspect of them.
iRocker’s Ultra SUPs are stronger, lighter, and far more compact. The electric pump is versatile and goes a long way to reducing the overall weight and pack size.
The iRocker paddle board Ultra™ collection is as impressive as it is fun, and we look forward to seeing how iRocker is going to surpass it.
